Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the best athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also claimed the title of world champion for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles and their younger sibling Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston area) were raised there. Simone began to be interested in gymnastics when she was just six. Her coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them for an outing. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite level of competition in 2011. In just two short years, she became the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles was notable by her consistent performance, her enthusiasm and level of challenge she made every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam and ground work.
