Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from the mixed race family of South London in England. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. She was raised on the South London Council Estate. She was a student at The Brit School aged 14. She studied acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While at school she appeared in several stage productions, including King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. Since then, she's been a guest star for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. The following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. She also was offered the part as Bambi on the ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe made an appearance in the 2008 Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Some of her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 with her drama The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes before being removed from The CW. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. Madekwe's exit from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. After a period of two years as a main character, she made a guest performance in the first episode of season three. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. From June to July 2012, Madekwe was married to her long-time love, actor Iddo Goldberg. They've worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also played a part with her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. She was raised by both parents Roy and Patty along with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's sports brothers played baseball in summer and hockey in the winter. Ashley didn't walk, instead she was a dancer. In the age of two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley began to be a dancer after this. Ashley continued to compete throughout high school with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and more. She was the top soloist in important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
