Rauw Alejandro
Raul Alejandro Ruiz Ocasio Ruiz was born on the 10th of January 1993 is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter. He has been called the "King of Modern Reggaeton".[2][3] He belongs to the "new generation" of Puerto Rican musicians. His first studio album Afrodisiaco was released in November of 2020. Vice Versa was his follow-up studio album. The lead single, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. From twelve nominations, he has been awarded two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Ruiz, a Latin Grammy Award winner was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 10th of January 1993. He also grew up in Canovanas as well as Carolina. [4][5] His father Raul Ocasio Ruiz was a guitarist and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz was his vocalist backing. They introduced him to the music of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. Alejandro and his dad lived for a long time in the United States. They mainly settled in New York City and Miami. Alejandro and Anuel A.A., a co-worker of the Puerto Rican rapper are childhood close friends. They went to the same school together and shared classes. As a youngster, Alejandro competed in school talent shows as he had an obsession with dancing. He was enrolled in the University of Puerto Rico after the completion of high school. He was a soccer player from six to twenty-five. However, he decided to stop playing because he didn't perform as well as he had thought. At the age of 20, he suffered an injury. He eventually moved to Orlando to try to be selected by the Premier Development League (PDL). Rauw Alejandro is famous for his Latin R&B, Latin Reggaeton and rhythmic pop. Billboard said that this has helped him stand out from the increasing number of reggaetoneros who lean towards pop. He was initially influenced by Presley and Jackson as well as later on by Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee and Chris Brown. [24He also cites Ciara as a musical influencer.
